While returning to Los Angeles for its Season 4 preliminary, the Remy Martin Producers Series brought out the industry’s latest and greatest to celebrate iconic hit makers and find music’s next big producer through a beat battle-esque competition.
In addition to judges DJ Damage (REAL 92.3 and REVOLT), Theo Brown (Radio Specialist), and Rebe Espinosa (Universal Music Group), featured judge and Super-Producer DJ Drama helped choose one of three contestants to advance to the semifinals next month.
While taking place at the Warwick in Hollywood, DTLR Radio’s Jay Claxton hosted the event with REAL 92.3 and Young California’s DJ Carisma providing the tunes.
Furthermore, competing for the spot at the semifinals, Frank Bank, Dre Tha Oneda and Tha Kracken dished out their best beats to be judged on a scale from 1 to 50.
In addition, the event brought out familiar faces like that of last year’s LA finale winner Buckmouth Beatz, Da Internz‘s Kosine, Symba, Brittney B, DJ XO, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, and more.
Additionally, the semifinals begin September 28 in Chicago and will end in October 17 in Atlanta.
Consequently, LA’s semifinals will return to the Warwick on October 12 with the grand finale in Vegas on November 9.
