While returning to the forefront of the R&B/Soul scene, the legendary and Grammy Award-winning group 112 debuted their sixth studio album ‘Q Mike Slim Daron‘ last night (Nov. 7) after a 12-year hiatus.
Taking place at West Hollywood’s The Peppermint Club, the Atlanta quartet, comprised of Quinness “Q” Parker, Daron Jones, Marvin “Slim” Scandrick and Michael “Mike” Keith, filled the room with an abundance of sweet nostalgia and ecstasy as they reassured us that that authentic and timeless R&B sound hasn’t disappeared.
Additionally, the “Peaches and Cream” group packed the place out with some of your favorite celebrities like: Brooke Valentine; Tony Rock; DJ Brandi Garcia; Karen Civil; Charisse Mills; Azmarie Livingston; Ernest Dukes and many more faces.

In addition to singing a brief a capella to their 1997 hit ballad “Cupid,” the fellas previewed a few of their 15 newly released tracks as DJ Brandi Garcia moderated questions in between.
By event end, the group hinted at a forthcoming tour with fellow R&B quartet Jagged Edge, who’s featured on their album via track #5 “Both Of Us.”
Furthermore, 112’s latest album perfectly executes the tricky task of remaining authentic while blending in the sounds of today.
